Spring has sprung! Although the winter weather in Dallas is pleasantly mild, that doesn’t mean we can’t look forward to celebrating the warmer months with some world class annual events.

Spring and Summer bring festivals, and Dallas has plenty to offer. Here are some of the best upcoming festivals in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

Dallas Blooms

Where: Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden

When: February 19-April 10, 2022

You’ll need to hurry to catch this waning festival. Through April 10, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is hosting its annual Dallas Blooms festival, the largest floral festival in the Southwest. 

This year’s exhibit is called “Birds of Paradise” and features four larger-than-life peacock topiaries. There are over 500,000 Spring blooms on display, and plenty of bird-themed concurrent programming to include wine and beer tastings, cooking classes, lectures, live music, and book signings. 

Could there be a more perfect way to kick off Spring? Dallas Blooms made MSN.com’s list of the top 14 places in the WORLD to see Spring flowers, so this is not one to miss! 

If you can’t quite make it to Dallas Blooms this year, don’t worry: the Arboretum’s Cool Thursdays Concert Series is about to begin. Their Spring/Summer series runs from April 7-June 30. 

Dallas Art Fair

Where: Fashion Industry Gallery 

When: April 22-24, 2022

April is for Art in Dallas, and the Dallas Art Fair closes out the month in style. The Art Fair at the Fashion Industry Gallery. The Gallery, a gorgeous Mid-century modern building located in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, will fill its 74,000 square feet of exhibition space  with a wide variety of modern and contemporary art from leading galleries.

The V.I.P. Preview opens April 21, with the fair running through April 24. 

Dallas Shakespeare in the Park

Where: Samuell-Grand Amphitheater 

When: June 15-October 15, 2022

No festival lineup would be complete without Shakespeare in the Park, and Dallas’ own People’s Theater is getting ready for its 50th season! Shakespeare in the Park is performed at the outdoor Samuell-Grand Amphitheater in East Dallas.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM
