Dallas is home to some of the country’s most luxurious hotels, frequented by locals and visitors alike for their first-rate amenities and fine dining. These are our top three choices when we need a place to stay in the big D.
1. Ritz-Carlton

The Ritz in Dallas is located in Uptown on McKinney Avenue. The 5-Star hotel is famous for its luxury accommodations, including an elegant spa that features local wellness therapies (try Dean’s Margarita Salt Glow) and more classic indulgences, like a full body massage or a relaxing facial with nutrient-packed ESPA products.
The Ritz is not just a favorite for tourists. Locals frequent the hotel for its fine dining at Fearing’s restaurant or high tea in the Lobby Lounge. 19,000 square feet of recently renovated office space make it an upscale place for a business meeting, while the massive ballroom has been known to host a wedding reception or two.
2. Four Seasons

Another household name in Dallas, the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas is an ideal destination for those who like to combine style and sport. The resort is located on a sprawling Championship golf course that has also been certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
In addition to a state-of-the-art rec center with a lap pool, spa, and tennis courts, Yogis will enjoy an Aerial Yoga session with Meg Plotsky, the only yoga instructor specializing in anti-gravity sessions in the whole of the Southwest.
Sit down to dinner at LAW, the resort’s signature restaurant, where you can enjoy tasty Texan-style meat and seafood. Carnivores will delight in the Butcher’s Block dinner menu offerings, which include dry-aged ribeye, tomahawks, and chops. Tuck in to the Duck n’ Dumplings for the most elevated comfort food you’ve ever had.
3. Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek

Rosewood is right at the top of the list for luxury, with amenities and services on par with our other favorites. Yet it has a completely different vibe from the ultra-modern Four Seasons or the swanky Ritz. Designed in a charming style reminiscent of the Italian coast, it is charming, welcoming, and intimate.
The thing that really sets this five-star hotel apart, in our opinion, is that it is pet friendly. There aren’t many high-end establishments that cater to our furry friends, but at Rosewood, dogs are treated just as well as human guests. Each four-legged visitor is given welcome treats, a fresh bed, and water. Dog sitting/walking are also available for an additional fee.
Rosewood is also home to another of our top restaurants in Dallas, the Mansion Restaurant. Featuring seasonal menus curated by the resident chef, you can enjoy fresh-caught fish and dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, like beets, greens, wild mushrooms, and goat cheese.
